One of my favourite new spots — proper cooking, no nonsense. Incredible pastas and risottos, all locally sourced. Simple, great cocktails (that negroni!). And the chocolate mousse? It unlocks the second stomach every time.

Quality Chop House has been around since 1869 and it still feels relevant. The confit potatoes are iconic and the wine list is one of the best in London. Go for a long, slow lunch.

Ida is just such an Italian family run restaurant. It’s quaint. Warm, and unassuming. It’s down this little residential street. It makes me feel fuzzy inside.
